🕷️ Concord NC Spider Control

Spiders Making You Uncomfortable?
We'll Clear Them Out.

The Piedmont's wooded areas and humid climate support healthy spider populations. Most are harmless but unwelcome—nobody wants cobwebs in every corner or wolf spiders running across the floor. We reduce populations and keep them under control.

Spiders Found in Cabarrus County

🏠

Common House Spiders

The cobweb-makers you find in corners, garages, and basements. They're harmless but prolific—their messy webs accumulate constantly and new ones appear within days of removal.

🏃

Wolf Spiders

Large, hairy, fast-moving hunters. They don't spin webs—they chase prey on the ground. They often startle homeowners by running across floors at night. Intimidating but not dangerous.

⚠️

Brown Recluse

The medically significant spider in our area. Brown with a violin-shaped marking on their back. They hide in undisturbed areas—boxes, closets, attics. Their bites can cause tissue damage requiring medical care.

Note: Brown recluse spiders live in the Piedmont region. While bites are uncommon, they can be serious. If you suspect brown recluses in your home, professional inspection is recommended.

Our Spider Control Method

1

Web Knockdown & Inspection

We remove existing webs and egg sacs throughout your home's interior and exterior. This process reveals where spiders are concentrated and helps us identify entry points and conditions attracting them.

2

Perimeter Treatment

We apply residual product around your foundation, doorways, windows, and eaves—the areas where spiders enter and build webs. Spiders crossing treated surfaces are eliminated over time.

3

Insect Reduction

Spiders go where their food is. By reducing flies, moths, and other insects around your home, we make your property less attractive to spiders. This provides longer-lasting results than treating spiders alone.

Spider Control Questions

Should I be worried about brown recluse spiders?
They do live in our region, though bites are relatively rare. Brown recluses prefer undisturbed areas—storage boxes, rarely-used closets, attic corners. Keeping these areas decluttered reduces hiding spots. If you suspect them, we can inspect.
Why do I have so many spiders in my garage?
Garages offer exactly what spiders want: shelter, darkness, and plenty of insects attracted by exterior lights. They enter through gaps around doors and vents. Sealing entry points and reducing lighting helps, along with treatment.
Will spider treatment work immediately?
Spiders don't groom themselves like insects, so they absorb products more slowly through contact. You'll notice reduced activity over 1-2 weeks as spiders encounter treated surfaces. Full population reduction typically takes 3-4 weeks.
How often should I treat for spiders?
For ongoing control, quarterly exterior treatments during spring through fall work well. Spider activity peaks in late summer and early fall when they mature and seek mates—this is when you'll notice the most indoors.
